Who we are
We believe in moving your body with joy. We believe in dancing with life, and as a way of life. Glissade [glee-SAHD] was created by a tango dancer who found herself hunting for dresses that she could both move in while dancing tango, that could also transition to real life — and finding herself coming up short. And so Glissade was born. Named after a step in ballet that means “to glide,” Glissade is a collection of jersey knit dresses and skirts designed to be the ultimate “Swiss Army knife” garments: for dancers and non-dancers, for tango, salsa, and swing, or picnics, date nights, errands, and weekend brunches.
