Who we are
We believe in moving your body with joy. We believe in dancing with life, and as a way of life. Glissade [glee-SAHD] was created by a tango dancer who found herself hunting for dresses that she could both move in while dancing tango, that could also transition to real life—and finding herself coming up short. And so Glissade was born. Named after a step in ballet that means “to glide,” Glissade is a collection of jersey dresses and separates designed to be the ultimate “Swiss Army knife” garments: for dancers and non-dancers; for tango, salsa, and swing dancing; or everyday lounging, outings, and regular life-ing.
