Agnes de Mille choreographed a trailblazing dream ballet within the film Oklahoma. (And our founder choreographed her own young version on the stairs descending into the living room.) It was a whirl of petticoats, high kicks, and the inner fears and fantasies of the main character, Laurey, come to life.

The Agnes dress is made for frolicking through fields of waving wheat, under a wide blue sky. She’s perfect for porch sitting, flower picking, or kicking up your heels at a hoedown, be it country mouse or city slicker. Sweet as posies and apple pie in a sky-blue, large floral print, or ready for anything in black rayon jersey knit, the Agnes features a pretty puff sleeve, square neckline, midi length, and high slit. Bodice is lined in super-soft rayon jersey. The sleeves feature elastic gathering at the shoulder and arm; they have been specially placed to accommodate bra straps AND not slide off.
